Vice Ganda's Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy

First of all, I am not Vice Ganda's number 1 fan, but I did like his previous flicks like Praybeyt Benjamin and This Guy's in Love with you Mare. The said movies were entertaining in the way only he, Vice, can deliver.
This year, Star Cinema has yet another blockbuster featuring Vice Ganda. The movie entitled, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy tells about the story of siblings with differing genders. One is a straight woman and one is a straight guy while the other two are heterosexuals. But it should be noted that the movie isn't about one's sexual preferences or sexuality. It's about family and sibling rivalry. It's about love, compassion, acceptance, and, of course, the fun that comes along with life's ups and downs. Yes, this may not be in the proper timing given that Yolanda's aftermath is still felt all over the Philippines, but it can surely be a momentary escape from life's pressures and stress. It may be quite similar to Pacquiao's visit to Tacloban. He may not have given them lots of money or tons of goods, but his presence alone made people shriek, shout, and beam with genuine joy. Isn't that enough to lighten up one's emotional heavy loads?
